Looking for a tranquil spot where you can relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature?  Look no further than the Raymond Moeller Public Hunting and Fishing Area operated by the Sioux County Conservation Board and generously donated by Ray Moeller.

This picturesque 18 acre tract features a pond created from a former gravel pit and stocked with native species.  The pond is surrounded by undeveloped land that is home to a variety of birds, insects and wildlife.  Although there are not any restroom facilities, a picnic table is provided.

The area is open to the public year round; however, the access road is low maintenance.

Swimming is not permitted but you may enjoy fishing, hunting, hiking, bird watching, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and ice fishing.  Naturally Iowa's hunting and fishing laws apply.
